NASHVILLE, Tenn. (June 29, 2021) – James Robert Webb’s fast-charting single to date, “Okfuskee Whiskey,” comes to life with the official music video directed by The Saylors Brothers. The video brings a visual aspect to the already vivid storytelling of the lyrics. The outlaw-inspired song was filmed at a farm owned by the original outlaw, Johnny Cash. The car featured in the video even belonged to Mr. Cash himself. Watch the video here!

The directors, Kenny and Kyle Saylors, who have produced countless films that have aired on CMT, MTV, Netflix and Hulu among many others, help Webb’s vision come to life. From the costumes, to the visual effects, this video captures the grit and revenge of the wild west with a whimsical flare. James is no stranger to pushing boundaries and crossing into new territory both professionally and musically, which has given him strong credibility in the country music scene. His latest music video follows that same pattern in bringing a new meaning to a powerful song inspired by his own family history.

“Working with The Saylors Brothers, I wanted to get away from the same old country video and make something that’s interesting to watch, even on mute.  If you take some Okfuskee Whiskey, blend it with Indiana Jones, a shot of Pulp Fiction and add a dash of Johnny Cash, it might look something like this” says Webb.

“Okfuskee Whiskey”, written by Webb and Matt Shannon, is James Robert Webb’s fastest-rising single to date with over 360,000 streams on Spotify alone. It is currently in the top 35 on Billboard’s Country Indicator chart and his highest charting on Music Row’s Country Breakout chart (No. 16) and was a multi-week No. 1 on CDX’s True Indie chart. Listen to the track here.
