NASHVILLE, Tenn. (September 4, 2026) – Emerging country artist Karissa Ellareleased her brand-new single, “Working Man,” just in time for Labor Day weekend, celebrating the hardworking men who keep our families, communities, and country moving forward. Listen HERE.
While inspired by a special person in Karissa’s life, “Working Man” is dedicated to everyone who has a hardworking man in their corner, someone who isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty, chases their dreams with determination, and puts the same effort into building a strong, lasting relationship. It’s a celebration of the partners who work tirelessly not only to create a better life but also to support the people they love every step of the way.
There’s something ‘bout a working man
Ain’t too proud to give a damn
Doin’ the best he can
To help real love grow
Don’t need no perfect man
I got one who understands
Good things take puttin’ in the work,
Gettin’ dirt on your hands
There’s something ‘bout
Something ‘bout a working man
“To me, being a working man isn’t just about what you do for a living. It’s about your character, your work ethic, and the way you show up for the people you love. ‘Working Man’ is for everyone who’s ever looked at their partner and thought, ‘I’ve got a good one.’ Sometimes love isn’t about grand gestures. It’s about showing up, day after day, and choosing each other through it all,” said Karissa Ella.
The release comes during an exciting next chapter in Karissa’s career. She released “The Country” most recently which received praise from Sweety High, Cowgirl Magazine, Entertainment Focus, Country in the UK, Fort Nash, and more. Always perfecting her live show, she had a standout show opening for Russell Dickerson on August 8 in her home state of Ohio. Her latest EP, Growing Wings, earned praise from Billboard, Cowgirl Magazine, Sweety High, Taste of Country, and other outlets.
