“This song is a sentimental one about how special your local bar can be. It is a place where memories are made and lifelong friendships are created. It’s not just about the bar, it’s more about the salt of the Earth people I look forward to seeing every time I go home. In this song, I reflect on what life would have been like if I would have stayed home, and sometimes I get sad that I can’t be in two places at once. I am lucky to be able to chase my dream and have an incredible hometown that makes leaving so hard. I love my hometown so much and all the people in it,” says Karissa Ella.

Karissa has been releasing new music this year produced by Casey Wood, who has credits with legends like Charlie Daniels, Reba McEntire and Randy Travis. Her ear for classic country paired with her unique country tone got her an invite to the Country Rebel ranch to sing a song for Country Music Hall of Famer Randy Travis himself. Inspired by the likes of Shania Twain, Gretchen Wilson, and Carrie Underwood, her music and writing are a reflection of those that came before her.
