ERIC PASLAY SELLS OUT FIRST NFT DROP, RELEASES SECOND ROUND OF SONGS FROM UPCOMING ALBUM

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (April 1, 2022) – After announcing a series of cutting-edge NFT drops, country hitmaker Eric Paslay has sold out the first of three, granting his fans access to an exclusive digital community. Today he released the second round of songs off his forthcoming album Even If It Breaks Your Barefoot Friday Night, named after four of his biggest hits – including some of the most impactful songs released in country music over the past decade. The songs released today, along with the first three, can be found on your favorite platform here. Paslay’s highest-charting hit, “Friday Night,” gets a reimagined take and brand new lyric video here. The full album is set to come April 15.

“Friday Night” was originally recorded by Lady A on their 2011 Own The Night album before Paslay cut it himself and released as a single in 2013, to date it is his highest-charting and most well-known song as a recording artist. He wrote it with Rose Falcon and Rob Crosby. “Rewind” was written with Ashley Gorley and Chris DeStefano and was a Platinum-selling single released by Rascal Flatts in 2014, also serving as the title-track on their critically-acclaimed album. “Song About A Girl” was originally released by Paslay in 2014 and written with Gordie Sampson and Jessi Alexander. It went Top 15 on the Country charts and was met with critical-acclaim.

The second of his NFT Drops on Wednesday, April 6 will be 9 NFTs for $250 each and will give owners a one-of-a-kind handmade lamp from Paslay. Each lamp was crafted with a piece of wood from a tree that fell on his house during the 2020 Nashville tornado. More exciting opportunities will be dropped on April 20.
