NASHVILLE, Tenn. (August 6, 2021) – Scooter Brown Band is uncorking a new side of themselves with their latest release, “Wine Drunk.” Co-written by Scooter Brown and Adam Wood, this release is the country-rock band’s take on the finer side of life. With classic Scooter Brown Band sound, catchy beat and clever lyrics, “Wine Drunk” will have the manliest of men dancing along and claiming their love for a nice, long-stemmed glass of vino.

“’Wine Drunk’ is one of the first songs I co-wrote when I moved to Nashville with one of my favorite writers, Adam Wood (Curb/ Pump House). I love wine, especially red wine. I haven’t heard very many songs with a “dude’s perspective” on getting wine drunk. It ain’t just for suits & ties… Even a long haired country boy, guitar playing, war hippie can appreciate a good wine,” said Scooter Brown.

Scooter Brown Band’s previously released music connects to the band’s strong patriotic and authentic country roots, with the likes of Randy Travis and Charlie Daniels as supporters and collaborators. Their single “Country At All” was in rotation on SiriusXM’s Outlaw Country, as well as their ode to the great Waylon Jennings, “Something Waylon Would Sing.” With this release, they are looking forward to a new era that will share the different sides of their music and express more of their influences with a broader audience.

About Scooter Brown Band
After four years and three months, two tours overseas with one tour of combat in Iraq as a United States Marine, Scooter Brown traded his guns in for guitars and hit the road. Scooter Brown Band was formed and began playing mainly in and around Houston, Texas. They have toured North America and opened for some of their biggest influences including Charlie Daniels Band, Travis Tritt, Dwight Yoakam, Lee Roy Parnell and the Marshall Tucker Band, just to name a few. With two of the members having served in the military, they dedicate significant time doing work for Veteran Support Organizations like Base Camp 40 – Warriors in the Wild, Lone Survivor Foundation and the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation. For the last few years the band has been building a new era in their career. Releasing American Son in late 2017 solidified the band’s unique blend of country and rock with various other influences and was lauded by Rolling Stone. Spotify supported the title track on multiple playlists and continues to show support as new music was released throughout 2020. “Leave It To A Woman” showed a different side of the band with a more traditional country sound, which was then followed up with “Something Waylon Would Sing.” The latter was picked up by SiriusXM Outlaw Country and is continuously among the top songs played. In 2020, Brown teamed up with Veteran owned Merica Bourbon for a special Scooter Brown Merica Bourbon Signature Series. The band has been tirelessly working on new music, gearing up to release a slew of new songs in the coming year. For more information, please visit scooterbrownband.com.
