“I ain’t addicted but I can’t quit
As your loving scorches my innocence
I take a longer drag until I choke
Breathe out and you fade away just like smoke”

“I was a clean-cut Christian guy in my early 20s and fell for a tattooed woman who smoked cigarettes. She let me believe I could keep up with her wild ways. Our relationship ended as quickly as it began and this song chronicles that time,” says Wade.
Listeners can now catch “Smoke'” spinning on SiriusXM Outlaw Country and those local to the Nashville area are invited to come check out Wade at Dee’s Country Cocktail Lounge for the final night of his residency on May 25 at 8:30 P.M.

Wade’s previous and debut single, “Keep on Truckin‘” received support from Whiskey Riff, Country Pickinz, Worlds of Country and more. The accompanying music video exclusively premiered on Wide Open Country and Saving Country Music included him on their release radar for the “‘Most Anticipated Album Releases in the Second Half of 2022.” Fans are excited to hear more of the authentic, country music he has been cooking up, which is due out later this year. To stay up to date with Wade, please visit wadesapp.com or follow him on InstagramTikTokFacebook, YouTube and Twitter.
About Wade Sapp
Wade Sapp is making authentic country music for a new generation. While steeped in tradition, Sapp blends influences from rock, folk and soul into his songwriting. At the age of 8, moving from the small south Florida town of Okeechobee to suburban Marietta, GA was a big change. But it was then Wade was exposed to more styles of music and eventually taught himself how to play guitar. As he got older, he started a band and began playing bars and clubs around Atlanta, eventually expanding to the southeast. After 7 years of paying his dues in the region, he decided it was time to take the next step in his career and make the move to Nashville. Since relocating in 2016, Wade has established himself as one of country music’s most exciting and promising stars. Over the past few years, he has played all over the U.S. opening for Colter Wall as well as perfecting his show on headliner dates. Now at long last, Wade is gearing up to release his debut album Radio Check in 2022!
