About Smithfield
Rooted in stunning harmonies and heartfelt songwriting, SmithField, is a modern country duo inspired by one of country music’s long-standing legacies: the male-female duet. SmithField hail from a small town in Texas, where they met at the age of 10, and their families go back 3 generations.  From the start, SmithField’s music was a unique mix of the contemporary and the classic, blurring the boundaries between country, pop, and rock. There’s no lead singer in SmithField. No main songwriter, either. Instead, Jennifer and Trey split those duties equally, writing harmony-filled songs that explore love, loss, and life from both sides of a relationship. Since moving to Music City, their song “Hey Whiskey,” a Sirius XM radio ‘Highway Find’ in 2018 launched the duo into critically acclaimed artists that Rolling Stone, Billboard, People, and Forbes have all raved about and called the ‘Ones To Watch’ in country music. The band has independently amassed over 130 million global streams, have 40 Grand Ole Opry performances to date, and released their debut album Country with Heart (Part One) on May 24, 2024. Part 2 of the album is slated for release in Fall 2025. SmithField has opened for some of country music’s biggest acts including Old Dominion, Kane Brown, Brothers Osborne, Dustin Lynch, Morgan Wallen, and country legends Joe Nichols, Josh Turner, Diamond Rio, and Sara Evans, to name a few.  For more information, visit: smithfieldmusic.com.
