Heads Carolina, Tails California: The Best of Jo Dee Messina, a definitive collection of 11 of Jo Dee Messina’s timeless classics, is available today on Curb Records. Listen Here.

The new album – Messina’s first-ever vinyl release on a limited-edition, 180-gram clear vinyl with wisps of color throughout – comes along as the country sound of the 1990s continues to experience a massive resurgence. Featuring all of her most popular hits – from “Bye, Bye” and “I’m Alright” to “Lesson In Leavin,’” the Tim McGraw duet ”Bring On The Rain” and more –  the album cements Messina’s undeniable place at the heart of that renaissance, and gives fans both old and new alike the opportunity to celebrate an artist whose musical contributions helped define that decade and continue to reverberate to this day.

“It’s amazing to look at this list of songs and be able to capture those moments in time,” said Jo Dee Messina, adding, “to actually be able to hold my music on vinyl is such a gift!”

On Monday, March 13 Messina will join NBC’s TODAY Show Third Hour live from New York as part of the Citi Music Series.

The nationwide, nearly 50-date Heads Carolina, Tails California Tour fittingly began in February in North Carolina and South Carolina and will extend through November in California. The tour kicked off with sell-out crowds during its first two weekends, cementing Messina’s status as one of country music’s most in-demand entertainers. This is the first time Messina has toured under the now-iconic moniker of the debut smash that launched her into stardom, and she is embracing the nostalgic theme further by using the original photo shoot for the release as her tour posters, along with limited edition merchandise.
