“My debut album, Can’t Hide Country feels like finally stepping into who you are. For years I tried to ride the line and please everyone with my music and now all I care about is being honest and sharing stories and moments that mean something real to me. If someone needs to know who I am, this record makes it plain and clear. From celebrating the little things in life, to a love beyond my wildest dreams, to anthems for all the ladies in my life about standing up for what they deserve in a relationship, to songs of encouragement to know you’ve got a reason to keep on going, this album takes you through so many emotions and seasons we face in life. I could try to be someone I’m not, but at the end of the day, no matter what I do, I can’t turn it off and I just can’t hide country.”
Emily Ann recorded this album at Starstruck Studios in Nashville, Tennessee and it was produced by GRAMMY-winning producer, Trent Willmon. On July 14, Emily Ann will mark her 17th performance on the Grand Ole Opry stage. Emily Ann’s undeniable talent, captivating lyricism and vocal prowess on her already-released album tracks have garnered her millions of streams and widespread acclaim from the media and fans alike.
“From flaming tracks such as ‘He Set Her Off’ to tunes about the simple life and adoring love songs like her latest release ‘Infinity,’ she covers the story-telling spectrum with the velvety twang of her vocals.” – MusicRow
“Emily Ann Roberts is quite the musical chameleon. From singing sweetly about her grandfather’s church on her 2022 song ‘The Building’ to delivering a sassy tale about a scorned woman on her current single ‘He Set Her Off,’ the season 9 runner-up of NBC’s The Voice always seems to keep her fans guessing as to what character she will play next.” – PEOPLE
“A delightful, throwback sound packed with warp-speed fiddle, steel and banjo. Roberts’ rapid-fire vocals ring with personality and conviction as she revels in a life that’s short on money but rich in love. Produced by Trent Willmon (known for his work with Cody Johnson), this winning track brings out the best in her traditionalist sensibilities and her bluegrass roots.” – Billboard

About Emily Ann Roberts
They say the way to the biggest stage is practice, practice, practice. And that’s exactly what Emily Ann Roberts has done, paying her dues from tiny stages in Knoxville to the biggest stage of all, the Grand Ole Opry. Since launching her career, Roberts has now played the coveted Opry stage 16 times. Before that, she made a name for herself on Blake Shelton’s team on The Voice before she’d even graduated from high school. In a way, being named as a runner-up was the biggest win of all. Because now, with all of that performing, songwriting and recording experience, Roberts has already racked up more than 25 million streams and was named one of Rolling Stone magazine’s Best Acts of CMA Fest. Growing up in East Tennessee, Roberts was raised on Smoky Mountain music, bluegrass players, and country artists from every era: from Loretta Lynn and Dolly Parton to Miranda Lambert and Cody Johnson. And all of that has prepared her to bring the country back to country music. Working with producer Trent Willmon means she’s collaborating with some of Nashville’s most prolific songwriters. So now, Roberts finds herself surrounded by people who are like-minded about making country music that will make its mark in the studio and on the stage. “I am passionate about entertaining. I do love singing, and songwriting has become a means to an end for me. I write so that I can take those songs and perform them, not the other way around.” With that, it’s safe to say that country music is in good hands with Roberts.
