NASHVILLE, Tenn. (September 11, 2026) – Hip-hop/country recording artist Lil Man J releases his self-reflective new single, “Working On Me,” out now.

Listen to “Working On Me” HERE.

Written by Lil Man J with Carlo Colasacco, Sebastian Garcia, and KTLN, the track shares a vulnerable side of J, as he recognizes the work he wants to put in to improve himself. The viral musician doesn’t shy away from being uncomfortable in this authentic, delicate melody.

“This song is very raw and honest about where I’m at in my life. I took a hard look at myself in the mirror and realized that we’re all a work in progress, and that working on ourselves is an essential part of being human,” says Lil Man J.

This track will be featured on Lil Man J’s debut album, The Underdawg, releasing on October 16. Featuring evocative ballads, feel-good anthems, and high-energy beats, the 11-track project is an honest look into Lil Man J’s grit and determination that continues to lead him to success.

Pre-save The Underdawg HERE.
