NASHVILLE, Tenn. (April 8, 2021)  Earlier today, People exclusively released country-rock artist Jessie G’s wedding photos. Jessie and Green Beret-husband Matt had an intimate beach ceremony in Destin, Fla. on March 20 surrounded by their closest friends and family. Country hitmaker Gretchen Wilson shared the Maid of Honor duties with the bride’s sister and performed their first dance song, “I’d Love To Be Your Last.” Fellow artist Matt Wynn headlined the night with Jessie’s band backing him.

“The whole day was a dream come true,” Jessie tells People, “we got to bring a little bit of my life in Nashville and Matt’s military traditions together to represent the union of our lives.”

In addition to the photos, People also announced that Jessie G’s next single, “Timeless” will be released on May 28. Fittingly, she wrote the song about her relationship with her now-husband. “Timeless” can be pre-saved here.

About Jessie G
“Sometimes true musical talent just cannot be denied, even when it’s found in the sleepy fishing town of Brookings, Oregon,” says GRAMMY-winning country artist Gretchen Wilson about Jessie G. Jessie’s heritage spans across four generations of commercial fishermen, and she spent much of her childhood aboard the hand-built family boat; searching for Dungeness crab and Albacore tuna, and  selling their catch at the market and in their family restaurant. Hard work runs in her blood. It’s doubtful, however, that Jessie knew that entering a Battle of the Bands contest, through which she won an opening slot on Gretchen’s Portland tour date, would literally change her entire trajectory. Upon hearing her sing, Gretchen invited her onto her tour bus and urged Jessie to begin the journey that every young country singer-songwriter must embark upon — she moved to Nashville. The budding artist immersed herself fully into songwriting, teaming with some of Nashville’s best and spent countless hours in the studio working on her sound. Discovering the true art of songwriting under the watchful eye of Gretchen and her multi-talented friends and collaborators, Jessie realized the true depth of what she wanted to say. With Jessie G starting her own label, Redneck Bayou Records, as a division of Redneck Records, Gretchen Wilson serves as a co-writer, collaborator, producer, label head, tour mate and friend. Jessie has seen success with her self-titled EP and her highly successful debut singles “Whatever This Is” and “Army Ranger,” which made a loud statement on radio worldwide. She’s had music videos debuted with outlets like CMT, GAC, The Country Network and more, which have amassed millions of views online.
